MD. Rajibul Islam was born in 1999 in Bogura of Bangladesh.
He completed his Secondary School Certificate examination from Harimohan Govt. High School, Chapai Nawabgong. Then he shifted to his hometown, Bogura, and conducted his Higher Secondary School Certificate examination from Govt. Azizul Haque College. Now he is studying for B.Sc degree from the Faculty of Fisheries at Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet.
As a fishery student, he has some plans to better the fisheries sector in our country. He also wants to work for the betterment of the river in Bangladesh in the future. As Bangladesh is a riverine country, he believes that our country faces a lot of problems without the development of the river.

He has a great interest in the research field. He believed that the lacking of the fisheries sector would fill up with quality research. In Bangladesh, Fisheries share 60% animal protein & he believes that it will increase day by day with a fair amount of research. As an undergraduate student, he has not had enough facilities to conduct research.
Besides this, I try to work on fisherman's socio-economic condition, the present situation of ornamental fish in Bogura, and so on. These research works were selected for different national & international conferences.

His first research title was “The Underlying Causes of Fish Habitat Destruction in Hakaluki Haor, Bangladesh” which was selected for the conference on “Environmental Solutions for Sustainable Development: Towards Developed Bangladesh (CESSD 2019)” at Dhaka, Bangladesh in November 2019.
