Khulna Division is one of the eight divisions of Bangladesh. It is part of the Ganges River delta or Greater Bengal Delta. Other rivers include the Madhumati River, the Bhairab River, and the Kopotokkho River. The region also includes several islands in the Bay of Bengal.
This division creates its value, especially for the Sundarbans. The Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. Besides this, this division bears some historical spots like Shait Gambuz Mosque, Khan Jahan Ali’s tomb Complex, The shrine of Lalon Fakir, etc.
